The Argentina F1 Grand Prix – 1953 is the first of a new series of lovely softbound books from the Whitefly Archive in Buenos Aires which will cover the initial F1 Grand Prix races held in Argentina. These early F1 races in Argentina have had very little in the way of either written or photographic coverage over the years. This book opens a new window into these Grand Prix events which were so distant from Europe yet so vital to the history of F1 racing.

The Argentina F1 Grand Prix – 1953 describes and provides qualifying and race results for both the 1953 Grand Prix of Argentina, counting for the World Championship for Drivers, and the subsequent non-championship Formula Libre race, the Grand Prix of the City of Buenos Aires which took place two weeks later. The photographs have been superbly reproduced and most of them have never been seen before. These images and the accompanying text provide a new and rare insight into the character and details of the warm winter F1 racing in South America.

This new book about the 1953 F1 races in Argentina is beautifully produced on 150 pages with over 100 photographs and measures 5-5/8 x 8-1/4 inches. The text is presented in both Spanish and English. It is sure to become a collector’s item and also will be valuable for research into the cars which appeared in these important events.
