Bill Fox

Bill Fox started his photography career by shooting a rodeo in Tucson when he was 15 years old. After being introduced to the excitement of motor racing in 1967 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Bill then attended many of the most important professional races in the Eastern United States and Canada, including the United States and Canadian Grands Prix, the Sebring 12 Hours, the Watkins Glen 6 Hours, and numerous IndyCar, F5000, NASCAR, IMSA, Can-Am and Trans-Am races. His images appeared in numerous American racing publications from the late 1960s through the early 1980s, including Road & Track and Autoweek, as well as the famous Swiss annual racing review Automobile Year. His images also have graced sports car posters from LoArt Press and Road & Track, several children’s books and the Goodyear calendar. Bill Fox passed away on November 28, 2012.
