| David Hobbs rounds the Hairpin in Roger Penske’s much modified Ferrari 512M which he drove with Mark Donohue. They were the class of the field and fastest qualifier but lost many laps after Donohue had a collision with the Porsche 917K driven by Pedro Rodriguez. They finally finished sixth. |
