| Ferrari now arrived for the new 1500cc formula with the 156/F1 with its unique shark nose designed by Carlo Chiti. Although not as nimble as the English cars, they did have the horsepower advantage over their rivals. At Monaco there were cars for Richie Ginther (n. 36), Phil Hill (n. 38) and Wolfgang von Trips (n.40). They finished second, third and fourth behind the Lotus of Stirling Moss. |
