| This is one of the two Jaguar D-types entered by Ecurie Ecosse. In the white coveralls behind the car is their head mechanic Wilkie Wilkinson. In 1957 Dunlop had been concerned with high tire temperatures due to the substantial speeds, especially on the on the outside rear wheel, so now a huge air scoop had been fitted to cool it. |
