| Juan Manuel Fangio’s total concentration: Here he rounds the gasworks hairpin in the experimental Maserati 250F V-12 during practice. This was a very difficult car to drive on the tight Monaco circuit but Fangio made it work anyway. In the race he took his normal six cylinder 250F to victory ahead of the Vanwall of Tony Brooks and the privately-entered Maserati of American Masten Gregory. |
