| This superb photograph was taken during the 1957 Mille Miglia when Klemantaski was acting as navigator for Peter Collins in a Ferrari 335 Sport. The picture was taken in the mountains on the approach to Rome. The Collins car led the race (at a record pace) until retiring with a broken differential at Parma, only a few miles from the finish at Brescia. This really super shot represents the essence of the Mille Miglia. |
