| Mike Hawthorn in a Ferrari 500/F2 leads the Maserati A6GCM driven by Onofre Marimon. Marimon was Juan Manuel Fangio’s protégé and his car was in the Argentinean colors of blue and yellow. Hawthorn would finish fifth while Marimon would retire. |
