| During a practice session Jo Siffert sits in the Porsche 908/3 which Pedro Rodriguez and Herbert Mueller will drive in the race. Siffert would partner Brian Redman in another 908/3. But Both Redman and Rodriguez crashed on the first lap, so two Porsches were out right away. |
