The Italian Grand Prix; Monza, September 6, 1970
Reference #: 70YD6B-7A

In practice the day before the race the faces of these Ferrari drivers say it all: Clay Regazzoni (l.), Jacky Ickx and Ignazio Giunti. The news has been passed that Jochen Rindt has just been killed when his Lotus crashed at the Parabolica due to a mechanical breakage. Thereby, Rindt became the first posthumous World Champion. In the race Regazzoni won and his teammates retired.
