| The front row. On pole is A. J. Foyt with his Coyote-Ford who led for many laps but finished sixth. Then Mario Andretti with his Hawk-Ford. He led more laps than anyone else and got the win. With #1 is Bobby Unser and a Lola-Offy, third on the front row and third at the finish. |
