| With wheels spinning, the front row of the grid roars away. On pole nearest the camera is Jochen Rindt in the Lotus 49B with Graham Hill in the sister car on the far side. Between them is eventual winner Jackie Stewart in the Matra-Ford MS80. This is one of Snowdon’s favorite images. |
