| Here they come! The long-awaited duel between Ferrari and Ford has begun, with the N.A.R.T. Ferrari 330P driven by Pedro Rodriguez (with Skip Hudson) getting away first as the Ford GT40s are slow to start. The n. 11 Ford of Richie Ginther and Masten Gregory powered through to an early lead, but the Ferraris had better reliability and took the top three places. |
