| Innes Ireland with the Aston Martin Project 214 leads the Ferrari 250GTO of Michael Parkes through the Chicane. Note that Ireland is already in a state of power-induced oversteer while the Ferrari is more stable. Ireland went on to finish seventh after several spins. Parkes also had a titanic battle with Graham Hill’s GTO, finishing second to him by a whisker. |
