| Early in the race Jean Guichet rounds Dunlop Cureve with the Ferrari 330LMB which he shared with his countryman Pierre Noblet. Both drivers were Le Mans specialists and ran near the front in their four liter special Ferrari GT in the early hours only to retire during the night due to engine failure. |
