| The ATS grand prix car, designed by ex-Ferrari design chieftain Carlo Chiti, driven by former Ferrari World Champion Phil Hill and backed by some very rich men was a total disaster. It was slow, unreliable, and looked as if it had been built in someone’s basement. Hill could not do anything with it. |
