| Willy Mairesse from Belgium was very aggressive. Here he hit Trevor Taylor’s Lotus in a high speed corner. Taylor hit a telephone pole, knocking it down. Mairesse’s Ferrari flipped and burned. Taylor was uninjured and Mairesse slightly burned. At the time it all looked like another Spa tragedy. |
