| Holding his removable steering wheel, Dan Gurney protects it from the likes of Jim Clark who, as a joke, had snitched the wheel and its locking nut off the nose of Gurney's Porsche while it sat on the grid not long before the start. When the 5 minute board went up, the wheel was returned to a rather nervous Dan Gurney. |
