| The Syracuse Grand Prix; Sicily, March 19, 1960 |
|
|
| The Syracuse Grand Prix was for F.2 cars. Wolfgang von Trips was given the factory’s two year old F.2 Dino, but with various updates, including a 1960 F.1 look alike body. Trips was nowhere near the fastest in practice, but as the more fragile English cars fell by the wayside and when Moss lost the motor of his very fast Porsche, the German driver sailed home the winner. |
