In line astern: three Testa Rossas run through Tertre Rouge in company early in the race. N. 9 is the 250TRI/60 of Phil Hill and Wolfgang von Trips which retired when it ran out of fuel in the third hour. N. 10 is the similar car of Willy Mairesse and Richie Ginther which lost its gearbox when running third on Sunday morning. The third is the N.A.R.T.-entered car of André Pilette and Ricardo Rodriguez which lasted to finish second to the Ferrari 250TRI/60 of Paul Frère and Olivier Gendebien.
