Just before the start the drivers are briefed at the start/finish line. On the far left with dark helmet and white visor on is Mike Hawthorn. To his left are Roy Salvadori and Cliff Allison. To his right with glasses is Masten Gregory. On Gregory’s left is Peter Collins with Luigi Musso to his immediate left, then Jean Behra with the checkered helmet. Olivier Gendebien is behind and to Behra’s right and behind him is Joakim Bonnier with Graham Hill to his left, Francisco Godia-Sales to his right and Maria-Teresa de Filippis behind him. To Behra’s left are Harry Schell, Maurice Trintignant and Stirling Moss.
