The French Grand Prix; Reims, July 1, 1956
Reference #: 56M6B-28A

Bugatti brought two new experimental Grand Prix cars, the type 251, with transverse straight eight motors. One car started the race, lasted but a few laps, and was never seen again at a Grand Prix. Maurice Trintignant, in the ski hat with the pompom, is behind the car at the pit counter.
