The French Grand Prix; Reims, July 1, 1956
Reference #: 56E4A-5

Other Variations

Action at Thillois: Harry Schell leads in the Vanwall which had been started by Mike Hawthorn. He is followed by Louis Rosier’s Maserati and Eugenio Castellotti’s Ferrari-Lancia. There were always a lot of photographers on hand at Thillois, the slowest part of the high speed Reims circuit. They ignored the danger of standing so close to the track.

Juan Manuel Fangio at Monaco, 1956
