| This is a marvelous study of Juan Manuel Fangio at work with his Mercedes-Benz W196. The sense of relaxation with total concentration is so striking. Fangio finished second, having “allowed” his teammate Stirling Moss the victory. Aintree was a tortuous course and was built around the famous Grand National steeplechase venue near Liverpool. |
