| Mercedes team manager Alfred Neubauer gives the “regolare” signal to race leader Juan Manuel Fangio as a mechanic shows the the Argentinean World Champion that he is 26 seconds ahead of his countryman Froilán González who is driving for Ferrari. “Regolare” or not, Fangio went on to win from González by almost a minute. |
