| Eric Thompson on the approach to White House early in the race in the Lagonda DP115 V-12. A short time later Thompson spun entering the Esses, possibly due to a mechanical failure, and crashed into the banking, forcing the car’s retirement. Overall it was a disastrous race for Astons, with three cars going out in crashes and the other two having mechanical failures. |
