Between the two “Porfido” corners at Monza (now gone to create the Parabolica) Alberto Ascari looks back over his shoulder from his Ferrari 375/F1 and directly into Klemantaski’s camera as an Alfa 159 comes up alongside. It’s probablyJuan Manuel Fangio, but Ascari went on to win with Froilán González second and ‘Nino’ Farina third.
