| On the grid at Montlhery stand Luigi Chinetti (l.) and Lord Peter Selsdon with the Ferrari 166 Spyder Corsa they were to drive. They won, as they would again at Le Mans in a different Ferrari a year later. This was Ferrari’s first endurance race victory. |
