| Not your normal Le Mans start, but they did not disqualify for assistance. Here Chinetti jumps into the Ferrari 166 Spyder Corsa at the head of the line, pointing downhill to Eau Rouge. The rather streamlined car directly behind is an Alta which was driven by George Abecassis and John Heath (the “H” in HWM). |
