| During the ?nal Tazio Nuvolari was running fourth and was lapped on the 31st lap in front of the stands by Nino Farina and J.-P. Wimille who were running close together in ?rst and second places. As Wimille went by, Nuvolari’s wheel hit the rear of the Alfa causing Wimille to spin lose a lap to Farina. This may have cost Wimille an overall win, as he had already won the first heat. At the finish it was Farina well in front with Count Trossi second and Wimille back up into third ahead of Nuvolari in fourth. |
