The Monaco Grand Prix; Monte Carlo, May 29, 1960
Reference #: 60D3B-9

Lance Reventlow sits in his Scarab F1 car during practice. Beautifully constructed, the Scarabs were underpowered and out of date when they arrived in Europe. Neither Scarab qualified, being about 10 seconds off the pace. Stirling Moss tried one in practice and, although much quicker than Reventlow or Chuck Daigh, even he would not have made the grid.
